Heart Rate Variability
The Nerve-Express System performs the following tasks:
- Assessment of Autonomic Nervous System and the level of Physical fitness based on lying-to-standing test (Orthostatic test);
- Assessment of Autonomic Nervous System based on performance of the Valsalva maneuver combined with deep breathing;
- “Real-Time” assessment of Autonomic Nervous System for up to 24 hours (similar to the Holter Monitor) with calculation and three-dimensional representation of the spectral function for each stage. The autonomic response may be observed every 2-3 minutes by separate assessment of Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Activity. This modality can be used for intensive care, anesthesia, and other long-term applications.
Bio-Electric Impedence Analysis (BIA)
Scale weight alone provides little information about a person's body fat, lean weight, or health. Body composition analysis can form the basis for a wide variety of therapeutic health and fitness prescriptions. Only body composition analysis can determine how much muscle, fat, and water are lost or gained as the result of a health care professional's recommendation.
